Fall 2012

I am pleased to see so many of my students getting involved with growing local, healthy organic foods for our community. Here is a picture of another garden started with the help of my students, this time to benefit NewHope Home in Gulf Breeze:

UWF Community Garden

What a wonderful experience to work with UWF students and faculty to grow healthy foods while learning about a sustainable food system! Much of the food grown in the UWF Student Community Garden will be donated to Manna Food Bank.
